The Neck Up Design, LLC Studio is located on the Northeast side of Indianapolis. The state of the art studio is beautifully appointed and guests are encouraged to enjoy the gardens during their visit. With a background in high-end salon/spa service, Daniel Klingler will help translate your visit into a five-star experience.
Daniel's international training and more than 10 years of experience in the industry make him one of the best service providers in Indianapolis. Your service will include a consultation, beverage, hot towel treatment, & hand massage. We use Kenra Professional Color and Styling products and Ben Nye/Mehron for makeup applications.

Daniel received his training through the AVEDA Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the 2004 recipient of the AVEDA National Scholarship competition and has been featured in ALLURE Magazine. In 2005, he was the recipient of a BEACON Scholarship (Awarded to emerging leaders in the cosmetology industry). Daniel earned his Instructors license in 2006. He has taught for AVEDA (2007 Instructor of the Year) and led the Education Team for The Academy Waukesha Paul Mitchell.
He has advanced certifications in Cutting, Color, Styling and Makeup from AVEDA and Paul Mitchell. Daniel has worked with top leaders in the industry including: Winn Claybaugh, Nick Arrojo (What Not To Wear), Vivienne McKinder, Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski, Oscar Bond, David Adams, David Wagner and Debra Dietrich.

Daniel holds a Bachelors in Musical Theater and Masters in Student Affairs from Ball State University. In 2011, he merged his passion for hair/makeup and his background in theater. He now designs wigs, hair and makeup for individuals, special events and the stage.

In 2013, Daniel had the opportunity to spend a week in Napa Valley, CA working with the Wig Boys whose work has been seen in many Broadway productions for more than 40 years.
